At Heart to Heart, we believe in the power of education and community to drive meaningful change. Our mission is to inspire and inform people about the critical need for organ donation, bust common myths, and create a culture of kindness and generosity. We aim to bridge the gap between the widespread support for organ donation and the actual number of registered donors.
Who We Are
Founded by a passionate advocate for health education, Heart to Heart was created to address the gap in knowledge about organ donation, especially among young people. We collaborate with schools, teachers, driver’s education programs, and community organizations to provide age-appropriate education and resources. Through lesson plans, videos, and engaging activities, we empower young individuals to understand the importance of organ donation and inspire conversations within their families.
Why Organ Donation Matters!
Every day, thousands of people across the country wait for the gift of life. One organ donor can save up to 8 lives and improve the quality of life for dozens more through tissue and cornea donation. Despite widespread support for organ donation, there is a critical shortage of registered donors. Together, we can change that.
Education
We offer engaging resources, lesson plans, and workshops for schools and communities to teach about organ donation in an age-appropriate manner.
Awareness Campaigns
Through events, social media, and community outreach, we spread the message about the importance of organ donation.
Collaboration
